Clear aligner treatment consists of clinical assessment, digital records, personalized planning and regular use.
Assessment and digital records
First, the teeth, bite and oral health are assessed. For suitable candidates, an intraoral scan, photographs and any necessary radiographic records form the basis of the treatment plan.
What does the digital plan show?
The digital plan is a planning tool that helps visualize the targeted tooth movements in stages. The simulation shown is not a guarantee of the biological treatment outcome.
Use and check-ups
Aligners are worn in the order and for the duration set by your dentist. At check-ups, aligner fit and tooth movement are assessed; the plan may be updated if needed.
